Secondary School: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

At ISOI we have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program throughout the entire Secondary School. Students will engage in blended learning at some point during every school day. BYOD and the integration of technology also allow for a seamless transition when Virtual School is necessary. For more information, reference the Virtual School and technology integration sections of the Handbook.

Students can use ISOI’s internet on their personal device after registration of the device. Each student is allowed to register only one device on the ISOI network. A device registration form is available at the Secondary School office.

Elementary School

The Elementary School is equipped classroom and mobile sets of iPads for lower elementary students and Chrome Books for upper elementary students. In addition to the iPads and Chromebooks, classrooms have computer stations. Elementary students also take technology classes from and IT Specialist teacher in a dedicated Mac lab.

For families who may be unable to provide a personal device for their students, please contact the Director of Finance concerning a school-provided computing device.
