What are ISOI's age requirements for Pre-K admission?

Students must be 2 years old by August 1st to be eligible to enroll in Pre-K.  Students entering Pre-K in the 2nd semester must be 3 years old by January 1st.

Is there a deadline for applications?
Applications are accepted throughout the school year.
Is there a corporate seat policy?
No, there is no corporate seat policy, admission rights are reserved.
What happens after my child's application is submitted?
After a completed application is submitted, the Admissions Committee processes and reviews the application. Once the application has been reviewed, the Registrar will contact the family and let them know next steps. This could take a few days.
Will my child be assessed for admission?
All potential candidates will be assessed during the admissions process and this may include taking an entrance and/or placement test. Assessment and selection criteria include a review of report cards, grades, transcripts, recommendations and standardized test results from the current and recent academic years.
Does ISOI have a wait list?
At times there may be a waiting list for some grades.

Is parental involvement welcome at ISOI?
Yes! Parent volunteers help with school activities, support new families and help coordinate social, cultural and academic events within the school.
If my child is already enrolled in another International or American School is there a direct transfer to ISOI from that school or vice versa?
ISOI is an independent school and as such has unique and separate admissions conditions and qualifications from all other schools. Credits earned from other accredited schools will be considered upon admission.
What Covid 19 Protocols has the School Implemented?
The Leadership Team and School Directors have compiled Covid 19 Standard Operating Protocols established by the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control, and reopened international schools in Europe and the Far East. Parents of ISOI students may receive Covid 19 Standard Operating Protocols from the Superintendent.
