ISOI - An IB World School
Authorized to Offer the IB Diploma Programme
The International School of Islamabad, an IB World School, is authorized to offer the Diploma Programme. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that the International School of Islamabad believes is important in the development of twenty-first century skills for students.
Students wishing to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are encouraged to apply as early as possible: preferably prior to grade 9 and no later than grade 11.
ISOI is currently accepting applications for admission from Pre K through Grade 12; however, only students applying prior to grade 11 will be eligible for the IB Diploma Programme.
Diploma Programme General Regulations for Parents and Students
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that prescribes the use of three programs for students aged 3 to 19 in order to help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. The Diploma Program is one of the three IB programs, along with the PYP (Primary Years Program) and the MYP (Middle Years Program).
The IB system of study was founded in 1968 and currently 3,294 schools in 141 countries around the world offer some or all of the three IB programs as the main method of study within their schools.
