Superintendent's Welcome Message

Whether you are browsing through our website to find out more about our wonderful school or are searching for specific information as a member of our ISOI community, welcome to our website and to our extended school community.
ISOI was the first international school accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools through the Accreditation for Growth protocol, as well as the first international school re-accredited under this protocol. The school also provides for students to receive an Advanced Placement Diploma. ISOI was featured in the 2007 AP Report to the Nation as the top ranking school outside of the United States in AP World History.

Our community is committed to following a Strategic Plan. Strategic planning is a collaborative process through which the entire school community defines our central beliefs, determines our shared vision, and creates the Plan to achieve that vision. Our school is embarking on its third Strategic Planning cycle. The Planning Team of 26 parents, students, teachers, support staff, and administrators has strengthened and refined our existing vision to create an exciting and rigorous plan to guide ISOI through the next six years.

Our vision is that each student will:

·   Demonstrate academic growth to reach his / her potential.
·   Enthusiastically make positive contributions to the community.
·   Exhibit intellectual curiosity that inspires excitement about learning.

Our community has proven itself to be resourceful, committed and resilient in the face of external challenges. Even though the political and security situation in Pakistan has been uncertain, the school has retained it position of excellence in the world of international education. ISOI became the pilot school for the Near East South Asia Virtual School. Our virtual school initiatives have become the model for other schools around the world. Most recently, ISOI has become one of the ten pilot schools for the MAPS Project North West Education Association assessment project to establish international school norms for the assessment.
