Secondary School: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
ISOI utilizes a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program throughout the entire Secondary School. With the expansion of the wireless network throughout the entire campus, technology is no longer confined to computer labs, but integrated throughout the classrooms. Students will engage in blended learning at some point during every school day. BYOD and the integration of technology also allows for a seamless transition when Virtual School is necessary
For families who may be unable to provide a personal device for their students, the School assists by providing devices on a rental basis.
Secondary students may take digital literacy courses with a qualified IT Specialist teacher in two dedicated Mac Labs.
The Elementary School is equipped classroom and mobile sets of iPads for lower elementary students and Chrome Books for upper elementary students. In addition to the iPads and Chromebooks, classrooms have computer stations. Elementary students also take technology classes from and IT Specialist teacher in a dedicated Mac lab.
