ISOI encourages its students to become involved in athletics and provides a wide variety of choices in team and individual sports, varsity, middle school, and intramural athletics, as well as regular physical education classes.
In accordance with the educational mission of the school, the ISOI Athletic Department endeavors to complement the academic curriculum in order to maximize student achievement and graduate students who are competent, ethically aware, socially responsible, and prepared for lifelong learning.

ISOI Secondary School Athletics values the student-athlete as a learner, citizen and a competitor. Through participation in sports and extracurricular activities, students enjoy opportunities to develop personal growth that addresses the positive qualities of character, leadership, responsibility, role-modeling, and team membership.
ISOI Athletics Vision Statement
The ISOI Athletics Program strives to develop athletes who participate in SAISA competitions through the committed and sustained individual effort needed to become the best possible athletes they can become while adhering to the educational values of sportsmanship, dedication, determination, self-discipline, team work, leadership, and a strong sense of respect for self and others.
ISOI is a member of the South Asian Inter-School Association (SAISA) and competes with other international schools in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Oman, and Jordan. Tournaments are held in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, cricket, tennis, badminton, and swimming.
