Elementary: Activities are offered four days a week and change every quarter. They are planned to appeal to students of all ages and interests. Students may choose up to three activities per week, which ensures every child may participate.
Secondary School: There are a wide variety of activities offered based on student interest. Faculty are always ready to sponsor an activity that students wish to explore or are passionate about.
LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
There are three elected Student Leadership Councils:
High School
Middle School
Elementary School (Grades 3 – 5)
Council members organize student events and activities including community and global service opportunities.
Middle and High School students participate in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, swimming, cricket, tennis, and badminton. The gymnasium is open before students arrive so they can play sports before classes begin and during breaks.
SAISA tournaments are held in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, cricket, tennis, badminton, and swimming. Students enjoy travel opportunities when competing with SAISA Member Schools in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Oman, and Jordan.
Students may also participate in Model United Nations,
Middle School – SAISA (West)
SAISA West tournaments are held in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, badminton, and swimming.
South Asian Inter-School Association (SAISA) West conference members are:
International School of Islamabad I(SOI),
Karachi American School (KAS),
Lahore American School (LAS),
which provides travel opportunities for ISOI Middles School students.
Students may also participate in the Compassion Summit and the NESA Virtual Science and Engineering Fair.
Students have opportunities to showcase their talents during Winterfest, Springfest, drama productions, and musicals. Faculty sponsor small groups interested in forming a band or musical ensemble and performing at events.
A variety of professionals offer fee based activities such as swimming, tennis, wall climbing Spanish Soccer, gymnastics, and cricket. Faculty and community members also offer free activities such as basketball or soccer based upon student interest. These activities are available to all community members.
All community members are welcome to enjoy the campus facilities after school and during the weekend.

ISOI fosters intellectual curiosity and students take the initiative to engage in many activities outside of the school.
