HEALTH AND SAFETY

MEDICAL FACILITY

The School doctor oversees a centrally located, professionally equipped medical facility, which includes an isolation room, a treatment area and a two bed space for students requiring observation or waiting for parent pickup.

ISOI has an ambulance to transport students or faculty to the nearest hospital, which is about five minutes from the campus.

STUDENT HEALTH AND SAFETY

The medical officer works together with each child’s parents to:

  • Manage individuals’ medical issues.
  • Safeguard medicines and ensure timely administration.
  • Provide daily medical care resulting from playground or sports mishaps.
  • Administer annual health checks.
  • Ensure water safety; all water on the campus is potable.
  • Monitor and manage communicable disease incidents.
  • Provides seasonal medical information to safeguard the ISOI community.
  • The medical officer provides first aid treatment at all school sporting events and is a member of the School’s Crisis Team.

AIR QUALITY MITIGATION

  1. The campus has air quality monitors throughout the campus. The medical officer uses the monitors in conjunction with other factors to determine if students may be outdoors.
  2. Every teaching space has air purifiers.

The security of every person on campus is our number one priority. Security protocols are available for ISOI members only.
